Spring is here

First BBQ of the year took place today for me, (finally some sunshine in London!) and I spent yesterday at a pub on the riverside. It's so nice to see everyone out and about in t-shirts smiling.

To celebrate Springtime here are some images from the new SS10 Uniqlo look book.

I love Uniqlo - I always buy my jeans from there as they are the perfect fit and don't lose it after just one wash plus great value!

There is a Glamour/UNIQLO event this week on Tuesday evening 6 - 9pm at the UNIQLO store on Oxford Street.

Top of the Beauty Tree too?

I remember a time when saving up for latest Miss Selfridge nail varnish was the norm...comparing how many tiny little pots you had at school became a top conversation subject and no sleepover was complete without swapping tones and painting every nail a different colour. If you had the brand new debut Spice Girls album then you were even cooler!
That was obviously many years ago and now I'm not sure of many high street clothing brands that have their own make up collection.
Well come May, high street giants Topshop will launch their very own make up range that will be sold instore and online. It is all being kept under wraps for now, see this months UK Elle for some info and the Topshop blog Inside Out has posted these pictures.

Looking forward to seeing the editorials inside too - 252 pages including shoots with the Donaldson sisters, Daria, Rachel Zimmerman and the cover shoot with Poly.

The first time I watched this it had no sound as my speakers weren't working...but it was almost more thrilling just watching all the clothes and sparkles!

Doing Bird is an Australian Magazine that I think comes out every 3 months (please correct me if I am wrong).
Have never seen an actual copy but loving these covers.

Gwyneth Paltrow on the cover of May's UK Vogue.
Is it just me or have the British Vogue covers been looking very old fashioned recently... I quite like the tones of the May cover but it's just not very exciting.

Compared with other International Vogue's such as the new Turkey Vogue covers British Vogue just looks so dull...again.
