Putting a name to the photos

I love coming across random websites and finding out they are the source of photos I have admired for ages.

This pink sofa photo is a favourite in an old scrapbook of mine from a while ago, I must have just found it on tumblr or something. On a random browse this evening I came across it on Ye Rin Mok's website within her portfolio of photographs

It's been confirmed that Opening Ceremony WILL be opening a pop up shop in London's Covent Garden in time for the Olympics this Summer...maybe this Olympic malarky, with all the extra people and jammed up roads/public transport will be worth it!

Feeling inspired

I haven't blogged in so long, I left my job in January and kinda felt like I didn't really have anything to blog about so I moved over to tumblr for a while.

This week however I came across Faran Krentcil's tumblr (Faran is the Digital Director for Nylon Online) and I loooooove it. I read about her in the new Topshop instore magazine and her love for making scrapbooks and collages when she was younger. Her tumblr shows pages from her notebooks and has inspired me to finally do something with all the notebooks I buy and am given. Maybe I'll share some on here once I get going.

I've kept scrapbooks for a long time, but these are more A3 research books for inspiration. I'm pleased my A5 books will now have a proper use. I love tumblr and blogging, and am slowly coming round to Pinterest, but digital media can never really beat a good old pen and paper or magazine.

Best Dressed so far?...

Out of everyone at the Stella McCartney presentation last night in London, I think that the designer herself looked the most radiant. 

I can see why this dress might not be everyone's cup of tea but I love it. 

Infact it's my birthday a week tomorrow so can anyone pull some strings and get me one for my own party?!

I'm also loving Alexa's change of style with this very grown up and glamourous frock....though I noticed she changed into a much more Chung-esque short dress for the party inside.

Marni for Me

I haven't been that fussed by the designer / H&M collaborations before, love Lanvin but when it came to it couldn't be bothered to actually go buy anything. Marni however! Not sure I'll be queuing up on Oxford St but I will definitely give it a good go to get hold of at least a pair of shoes...I'm a 37/UK4 for anyone who would like to help me out.

Super Clash

I'm not usually one for strong prints in my own wardrobe...black and navy seems to have taken over, but I am loving this MGSM pre-fall 2012 collection.

They Italian label is stocked at both Matches and ASOS, I'm hoping that the sunglasses, dress and coat from first two pics are available...infact I don't want to wait til after Summer, can I just get them now?!
