Back to a Lula day

Back from a brief spell away - and home to find a new Lula!!!
There is a choice of blue or pink covers (I went for pink) both starring Tati Cotlier!
Which will you choose?

Love Love Love

Inside there is an interview with the brilliant Peter Copping as well as a Nina Ricci shoot, Brooke Shields discusses her career, the usual adorable Lula editorials, we are introduced to female band Warpaint, cover star Tati is styled by Leith Clark for her shoot, and much more...

sorry for the rubbish quality, had to take them on my phone as I don't have my scanner with me

Lula 'Leven

Lula Issue 11 has finally hit the newstands...go go go!
The treasure hunt is on!!

My boss surprised me with an issue a couple of days ago and she found it opposite Liberty in London by the Palladium theatre if that is of any help to people looking. I also think it is in Selfridges too.

Issue 11 it would seem is a Rodarte issue
Laura Mulleavy finds a new day job interviewing Vivienne Westwood and Agnes Varda, she also teams up with her sister to style Lula favourite Kirsten Dunst, and they look at the world of ballet and Natalie Portman's new film Black Swan.

   scans from tfs

My scanner isn't working properly at the moment but I'll try put some more pictures up soon. Below are some photos of the Natalie Portman/Ballet article (sorry for the rubbish quality!)

I'm going to try grab some more copies if I see them so if you are having trouble finding an issue let me know and I'll try find one for you!

Anyone know what is happening with the latest issue of Lula?
The issue date keeps being put back from what I have can find on the internet.
I think it was originally supposed to be out beginning of October.

I want Lula!

Why Don't They Let Us Fall in Love

lulamag.co.uk

Reading about the Lula/Harvey Nichols collaboration lead me back to the Lula mag website.
Not sure when they updated it but they now have 4 videos from the making of their birthday issue out earlier this year - including a closer look at the Strawberry Shortcake themed covers.

Harvey Nichols have teamed up with Lula magazine to launch a pop up shop.. Is this not the best idea ever? To celebrate Lula's 5th birthday they have created a boutique on the 4th floor of the fashion mecca with exclusive designs by some of my favourites - Erdem, Miu Miu, and Sonia Rykiel.Chanel has also created something special for all those who make a purchase (any one know what this is?!)
The project was curated by Lula editor Leith Clark and set designer Fiona Leahy.
It looks so cute, I want Lula wallpaper!

The collaboration was launched last week at an exclusive dinner
with guests including Leith Clark, Erdem and Clemence Poesy. 'Girl of the moment' Coco Sumner provided some musical entertainment.

Drip by drip...

The new Lula website is up and it says the magazine is out now!
The website has three short films including 'Spell', a collaboration with Topshop, and a film about artist Mercedes Helnwein, who makes me want to do a lot more drawing.

I've put up some stills but see here for all three videos.
