Pixie

As many people probably already know, Emma Watson went for the chop this week...
Little Hermione is all grown up and she wants everyone to know.
I'm still undecided - the professional shots look great but it will be interesting to see how she works it on the red carpet or everyday life.
It was certainly a great move for all these ladies, does anyone even remember Agy or Carey when they were boring old long hair beauties?!

Pearl Talon Knuckleduster $196

Spike Rhinestone Ring $45

Talons Knuckle Buster - New Armor Gold $138

I noticed this label from the MK editorial in Marie Claire and looked them up online to find out more.
Made Her Think is a privately owned New York based company that sources and produces all the jewellery in Manhattan.
Their rings are amazing, definitely Olsen worthy.
Above is just a small selection - take a look at their website for more - MadeHerThink
I love love love the Spinning Gladiator Ring.

Loving MK on the cover of the new US Marie Clarie
Great accessories throughout - including Topshop Unique antlers.
Haven't seen either of the Olsens out and about much recently, so it's great to have a new full editorial.

Brighten up the Winter

fashiongonerogue

From the August 2010 Turkey Vogue
I like how Turkey Vogue uses Turkish designers in their shoots, but does anyone know who this dress is by?

Shakuhachi

Bambi in the Shakuhachi SS2011 campaign
I found these pictures on studdedhearts, I haven't come across the label Shakuhachi before and I have very little information on them.
I think it is an Australian label but can't find a website.
Anyone know more?

Sad times

Last month I bought my perfect pair of shoes in the Marc Jacobs sale in Paris.
Jelly uppers with a velvet platform semi wedge....beautiful, comfortable, 50% off and the last pair in the shop that just happened to be my size.

I trotted to work in them the very next day feeling fabulous, and kept them on to jump on the Eurostar back to London that evening.
But London, it would seem, was not fond of my new shoes and whilst walking through St Pancras I felt something wrong.
Looking down in the taxi I noticed that not only had they broken, but the jelly uppers had split and were completely unmendable. Unfortunately I could do nothing but get a full refund the next week when I was back in Paris.
So this post is a tribute to beautiful shoes.
Have you ever spent too much money on something and then been left disappointed?

I want...

topshop.com
I want these - but they are no longer available on line, they just put a picture on the shoes section to tease me, Anyone know if they are still in store?

HOLIDAY!

I've been away for too long now, working and travelling to and from London, Paris and Italy for weeks but now I have 6 whole weeks of holiday! It feels like I've broken up from school!
Sorry my blog has fallen by the wayside a little recently, I've had limited internet access and even more limited time. Even Blogger has all changed, just getting the hang of the new features.
Hope everyone is having a lovely summer, I'm going away for a week tomorrow to do absolutely nothing somewhere sunny but will update my blog whilst I'm away.
