If only my feet would allow it

Outside LFW, Somerset House

I'm not sure where these are from, but I've seen quite a few shoes around with a pencil heel like this.
Although on closer inspection, don't these look a little big for her?!

Being of a small stature (5' 2.5" - the half matters) I often think I should live in heels, but even on nights out I'm usually in boots or flats. Perhaps if I had a pair of Louboutins I could be persuaded.

Meanwhile, outside

Outside I ran into The Sartorialist, Scott Schuman, and his assistants who were lovely, and also saw Iekeliene Stange (who I snapped as she was being photographed by some press) looking as colourful and eclectic as ever.

Rocha...John Rocha

I was woken this morning by a text from the lovely Grace who had a plus one to the John Rocha show at Somerset House today. I really do love the new home for London Fashion Week, it looked fabulous and the sun was shining in the courtyard whilst we stood people watching and waiting to be let inside.
After a few dramas on the door, when loads of ticket holders were left outside after being told the venue was at full capacity we managed to squeeze in to find loads of space!

I have never really been a huge fan of John Rocha but after today I am ready to sign up to the fan club! The clothes were stunning. Pretty, feminine, floaty and romantic, with a soft colour palette of peach, caramels, pink, mint, white and black.
I know my photos aren't the best, I had to use my mum's camera so sorry if the details are unclear.

I really loved the shoes too, so if you can't see them in my pictures make sure you check them out on Style or Vogue - Big clompy wooden platforms with cut out laced uppers or strappy sandals.

I have a video too of the final call with John Rocha but I can't upload it for some reason.
Will try add it tomorrow.

Why?

I received my subscription special cover of this month's Elle magazine - Lily Allen shot by Rankin, only to discover on my way through Waterloo this morning that they have in fact also produced exclusive covers by British designers and artists to celebrate 25 years of London Fashion Week. Why did the subscribers not get these???

Who wouldn't want to receive Boris in the post...

The images will also be dotted around the London Underground as posters celebrating London Fashion Week. See all 25 posters from designers such as Luella, Christopher Bailey, Marios Schwab and Paul Smith here.
